We have discussed in class and decided that the two Brady Bunch episodes: ‘Our son the Man’ and ‘The Liberation of Marcia Brady’ convey 4 main Social Values:

  1. That all races are created equal,
  2. That the man is the head of the household,
  3. That boys and girls should have equal opportunities,
  4. That the family is an important unit in society,

Describe how one of the representations in the text you have studied this year is constructed to reflect a social value of the text’s production period.
